1. Flatbed Die-Cutting Machine


Working principle is as below:

The shape of the die-cutting plate table and the press-cutting mechanism of the flat die-cutting machine are flat. The die-cutting plate is fixed on a flat plate table, and the processed sheet is placed on the pressure plate (lower plate). When working, the die-cutting platen is fixed, and the platen moves back and forth through the crankshaft connecting rod so that the platen and platen are continuously clutched and pressed, and a die-cut is achieved every time the plate is pressed together.

The common flat die-cutting machines are vertical die-cutting machines and horizontal die-cutting machines. At present, the vertical die-cutting machine is mainly converted from a flat-bed printing machine; and the horizontal die-cutting machine is similar in structure to a monochrome offset printing machine. Automatic waste removal device, etc.


Advantages and Disadvantages:

Compared with other die-cutting equipment, the flat-type die-cutting machine has a series of advantages such as simple structure, convenient maintenance, easy operation, easy replacement of die-cutting and indentation plates, suitable for materials of different gram weights, and accurate die-cutting. broad market. However, its shortcomings are also obvious. For example, it requires a lot of pressure when working, resulting in high labor intensity and low production efficiency. It has a wide range of applications and is suitable for die-cutting and creasing processing of folding cartons, pasting cartons, and corrugated cartons. It is currently the most commonly used die-cutting equipment in China.

2.Rotary Die-Cutting Machine

 

Working principle is as below:

The shape of the die-cutting plate table and the working part of the press-cutting mechanism (pressure cylinder) of the circular die-cutting machine are cylindrical, and the molding principle is similar to that of an offset printing press. Fix one or two semi-circular die-cutting plates (or metal die-cutting rollers) with the same radian as the die-cutting plate base (ie die-cutting plate cylinders) on the die-cutting plate cylinders, and wrap a layer on the surface of the pressure rollers Polyester plastic protecting the die cutting edge. With the progress of molding, the polyester plastic on the surface will be destroyed, so generally, the polyester plastic on the surface should be peeled off at regular intervals and replaced with a new plastic layer. During molding, the feeding roller sends the processed sheet material between the die-cutting plate cylinder and the pressure roller, and the two clamps it to the roller for molding, and the die-cutting plate cylinder rotates once to complete a die-cutting task.

 

Advantages and disadvantages:


Because the drum of the die-cutting machine is running continuously, its working efficiency is the highest compared with other die-cutting machines, and it is especially suitable for mass production, but it is precise because of its high die-cutting speed that sometimes The required die-cutting accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Like the circular flat die-cutting machine, it adopts the principle of line contact to complete the molding work, so only a small pressure is required during die-cutting, and the pressure distribution is relatively uniform, so the load of the machine is relatively stable. However, its die-cutting plate is curved into a curved surface, so it is more complicated to make and install the plate, the technical difficulty is relatively large, and the cost of plate-making is relatively high. The cost of the die-cutting version is 25%~100% higher.

3. Rotary Flat Die-Cutting Machine

Working principle is as below:

The working principle of the circular flat die-cutting machine, its die-cutting plate table is flat, and the die-cutting plate is fixed on its upper surface. The paper is fed through the grippers of the embossed rollers. When working, while the molding drum is running, the plate table moves forward to realize die cutting. Before the gripper continues to connect the next sheet of paper, the plate table makes a return movement and returns to the starting position (the plate at this time). The table is not in contact with the working surface of the molding roller), which is convenient for the next die-cutting work.


Advantages and disadvantages:

The equipment adopts a cylindrical pressure roller instead of the pressure plate, so it is not "surface contact" but "line contact" during operation. The machine only needs a small pressure during die cutting, so the load of the machine is relatively stable. However, due to the force component produced when the die-cutting plate and the die-pressing roller roll against each other, the cutting line is easily deformed and displaced, and its application range is relatively narrow. Generally, it is only suitable for die-cutting of cardboard whose gram weight is less than 400g/m2. For paper die-cutting and foil stamping of anodized aluminum films. In the process of paper die-cutting, pay attention to the fiber direction of the paper. Generally, it should be parallel to the axial direction of the die-pressing drum, otherwise it will cause serious paper expansion and contraction.
